This echoes the findings in our Bellwether Research ( from the end of last year which reveals that efficiency is the second most important client priority and discusses how lawyers must adapt to survive in the competitive landscape.  Our research also shows that 49% of law firms believe that their firms are only ‘averagely’ efficient.   In a market which is becoming ever more competitive, with client power increasingly in control, we don’t think firms can ignore the levers that drive efficiency.
