That heroic organisation the Financial Ombudsman Service uses AI to vet applicants.   Having 33 years of experience of regulation I thought I would try it.  Needless to say it threw me out. I am told it does not like people aged over 60.   If that is true, FOS's venture into AI is ensuring that at a time when FOS is under fire it is excluding from its pool of potential employees people who might actually know about financial products and would be happy to contribute their expertise while they are still fir and able to work.
